Concentration and Channeling Life Energy

"....Sustained attention is one of the key factors in the spiritual development. It is necessary that we guide our attention to the levels where the Source of attention, silence and order is. In that way we shall improve our senses and pass through the gates of perception - inside - towards the Source, and as a consequence wake up creativity, adaptability and originality. The force that channels our life energy is concentration, but what controls the concentration is attention. The concentration is a conscious and sustained holding of attention.

The attention can be defined as the very moment when we direct our energy, our consciousness, towards our goal. The question of attention is the question of linking ourselves to our life goal. Our intent is a force directing the life energy to a specific goal. The intent is like will - motive force leading us to the attainment of our goal. When the goal hits an obstacle, a problem occurs. The obstacle can be considered as a critical point where life energy is stifled because of impurities in the body, in the feelings, and in the mind. Impurities occur when we counteract the law of nature, when we are not in harmony with the truth.

When we have a sustained flow of attention, we are linked with an infinite reservoir of power. A moment of inspiration is a moment of transitory link with the source of knowledge, power and energy through a light tube - Sun Ray. Inspiration occurs when we do not expect it, in moments of tranquility, relaxation and spiritual peace.

The vital energy need not be only creative, it can be also destructive. Straightening oneself out means having clear consciousness, possessing clairvoyance. If energy is not focused, it is dissipated. It is necessary to have a concrete goal in order to prevent our energy from getting dispersed.

Concentration is the power of keeping attention within a limited narrow circle which functions as a centre of consciousness. That very movement makes sure that attention is kept sustained. Directing the mind to what we have to do in our daily life teaches us to devote sufficient attention to it and control its tendency to wander about. By increasing the intensity of concentration, the mind becomes so concentrated that by watching any object or problem, it completely forgets itself and its surroundings. The higher degree of concentration, the better quality of work.

The art of concentrating the mind on any object we are studying will transform the mind into a reasoning instrument. The mind should be fully perfected until it becomes able to remain focused on any task we assign to it, as long as necessary. The degree of concentration is a test with which we can measure our readiness for mediation and spiritual work. ...."
